Access to Special Opportunity and Alternative Asset Classes
Emergis offers access to opportunities that have arisen from a number of different factors.
First, the disintermediation of the European and US Banking Sector has driven enormous private sector Special Opportunity/ Alternative Investment opportunities. This includes debt, equity and “loan to own” opportunities.
Second, a proliferation of new US and UK-based funds seeking to enter US and European SME lending opportunities--they see this as a chance to compete with the traditional role of clearing banks as capital providers; however, they are still challenged by deal origination capabilities and the lack of transformational management expertise. Last, Direct Corporate Lending is in its infancy in Europe and there is a large underserved market.
Our Response
In order to capitalize on these opportunities, we leverage Emergis’ core service offerings, local and global relationships to channel investment from multiple Investor classes into targeted loan funds, unlisted loans, private placements and direct business lending arrangements.
